    There are some events that just hit a little closer to home.

    When Heather Reed—teacher at Washington High School and member of the 605 Run Collective—shared her vision for a new 5K supporting the WHS Speech & Debate program, it didn’t take much convincing. As a Washington alum and former debate letter winner myself, this one feels personal.
